Judith Valerie, Yoga teacherJudith Valerie, M.A.
Judith Valerie is an educator with over 30 years of teaching experience in Britain and the United States. She has been practicing yoga since 1977 and teaching since 1979. Yoga teaching has been her professional livelihood since moving to Raleigh, NC in 1990.

Judith is certified through White Lotus Foundation (CA,1988) and the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health (MA,1991). The first 13 years of Judith's yoga education were in the Iyengar tradition. Judith received her 500 hour professional level teachers certificate in 2002 from Kripalu Center. She continues her professional development by attending additional workshops and trainings in a variety of styles, most recently:

  • Osteoporosis, Yoga and Bone-Building (Kay Hawkins)
  • Ester Myers style yoga (Monica Voss)
  • Betsy Downing (Anusara Yoga)

And, after 30 plus years, Judith is even more deeply in love with her personal yoga practice and teaching her classes!
